2011 BIBF FAQ
1.How do I book hotels?
For your convenience, we have special BIBF rates for hotel reservations from the following five hotels, Kempinski Lufthansa Center, Radisson Blu, CTS Plaza, Great Hotel, Crown Plaza International Airport Beijing. Please complete the BIBF hotel reservation form for the special rates.
2.How do I contact BIBF organizer?
During the exhibition there will be over 120 volunteers on site to answer questions. You can also contact us by phone. (Chinese Service: 010-65866994, English Service: 010-65866995)
3.How much is the ticket for the exhibition?
This year’s BIBF is free for visitors. Visitors just need to fill in a registration form at the gate to get a ticket for the exhibition.
4.How do I register and get a ticket?
Visitors can get on our official website www.bibf.netto download the registration form, or to fill in the form at the South Gate to get a ticket. Public visitors enter through the South gate while exhibitors can enter through the South or East gate.
5.Are the tickets reusable?
All the tickets are single entry, can be used only once.
6.How do I get to the exhibition from Beijing Railway Station?
- 19 km by Taxi
- By bus and subway: Take Line 2 at Beijing Railway Staion， transfer to Line 13 at Dongzhimen station, transfer to Line 15 at Wangjing West station, then get off at China International Exhibition Center station (Exit D).
7. How do I get to the exhibition from Beijing West Railway Station?
- 34 km by taxi.
- By bus and subway: Take bus 320 to Junshi Bowuguan station, take subway Line 1 to Jianguomen station, transfer to Line 2 and get off at Dongzhimen station, transfer to Line 13 and transfer to Line 15 at Wangjing West station, get off at China International Exhibition station (Exit D).
8. How do I get to the exhibition from Beijing South Railway Station？
- 35 km by taxi.
- By bus and subway: Take subway Line 4, transfer to Line 2 at Xuanwumen station, transfer to Line 13 at Dongzhimen station, transfer to Line 15 at Wangjing West station, get off at China International Exhibition station (Exit D).
9.How do I get to the new venue from the old China International Exhibition Center?
- 19 km by taxi.
- By bus and subway: Take 419, 104, 596 or 379 at Jinganzhuang station，get off at Taiyanggong station. Take subway Line 13, transfer to Line 15 at Wangjing West station. Get off at China International Exhibition Center station (Exit D).
10. How do I get to the exhibition from Capital International Airport?
- 8 km by Taxi from Terminal 3, and 2 km from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
11. How do I get a taxi from the exhibition?
There will be taxi waiting at the exit. You can also call in advance. Yinjian Taxi Service 96103, Beijing Taxi Service 96106. Please call beforehand to leave plenty of time for the taxi to show up.
12.Where can I get lunch during the exhibition?
NCIEC has 24 dining facilities which are located at the center courtyard and surrounding exhibition halls. Onsite dining can also provide group takeout, buffet, formal dinner and meeting snacks.
13. Are there shuttle buses for the exhibition?
For exhibitors we provide daily shuttle buses. There are 4 routes going to NCIEC in the morning and 3 routes going to the city in the afternoon. Shuttle bus service is only for exhibitors.
14.What’s the place and time for shuttle buses?
BIBF provides shuttles buses from downtown to NCIEC:
BUS 1: CIEC-NCIEC 7:45am
BUS 2 : CIEC-NCIEC 8:00am
BUS 3 :Kempinski Hotel-NCIEC 7:45am
BUS 4 :CTS Plaza-Great Hotel-NCIEC 7:30am at CTS Plaza, 7:45am at Great Hotel
Please wait for the shuttle bus at the front entrance of the mentioned locations. Shuttle bus will have a “2011BIBF” Sign.

15.How much is the shuttle service?
All shuttle buses are free for exhibitors. Exhibitor badges are required to get on the bus.
16.Will there be parking at the exhibition hall?
The NCIEC has plenty of parking spaces.
17.How much does it cost for parking at NCIEC?
Metered parking is 2 Yuan per hour. You can also purchase a parking pass for the exhibition period for 100-300 Yuan (depends on car type) per car.
